1. Honey and cinnamon
Take one part honey to two parts of lukewarm water and add a small teaspoon of cinnamon powder, make a paste and slowly massage it to the sore body parts. It is noticed that the pain recedes within a minute or two. People who suffer from arthritis can take one cup of hot water with two spoons of honey and a small teaspoon of cinnamon powder in the morning and one cup in the evening. If drunk regularly even chronic arthritis can be cured.
In a recent study at the University of Copenhagen, the doctors who treated their patients found that, with a mixture of one tablespoon honey and half teaspoon of cinnamon powder before breakfast, within one week of the 200 people who were treated, 73 patients were totally relieved of pain, and within a month, mostly all of the patients who could not walk or move around because of arthritis started walking without pain.
Grapefruit contains salicylic acid which helps in the disintegration of inorganic calcium, which accumulates in the cartilage of the joints, which can lead to arthritis. If you already suffer from arthritis, try to drink grapefruit juice with apple vinegar, to alleviate the symptoms of this disease. The salicylic acid, functions as a powerful antiseptic versus bacterial and fungal infections.

5. The German-American "father" of the raw diet, and author of the book “Living without illness”, Ernst Günter, once published an interesting recipe for treatment of arthritis, gout, sciatica, rheumatism and other inflammatory and painful conditions of the joints, hips, fingers, toes , knees, and the painful heel (Achilles heel).
It is made in the form of coating which is applied to a painful place, and that can act directly on the place where the problem manifests itself.
Compresses are made in the following manner:
- Onions and
Soak a full tablespoon of flax seed in 2-3 dl of water. Boil the water for ten minutes while the flax seeds do not get a mushy mixture.
At the same time wash the potatoes and scrub them with their own crust. Also scrub the midsize red onions. When the water with linseed has cooled, add the onions and potatoes, and mix them well. Drain the excess liquid from the mixture.
If there are problems in the fingers or toes, or the heel place in the mixture in some old gloves or socks, put them on the hands or feet and slip over nylon bags, which you will tie so that excess of liquid can’t leak out. On other body parts such as hips, spine, ribs, knees, etc. we suggest that the mixture is first wrapped in gauze and placed on the affected area, after which the entire area will be wrapped in some bandage or plastic household wrap that will keep the mixture tight to the affected area. These compresses on the affected areas must be held during the night when you sleep, and tossed in the morning, and the areas washed with soap and water.
If the areas are visible and the onion possibly irritates your skin, and causes redness, you can first put some very greasy cream or olive oil on the skin or you can increase the layer of gauze to the mixture. Simultaneously with the use of this coating on the outside you should regularly use fish oil, which will operate within. Repeat this procedure whenever you can until this mass does not "pull out" the disease from the body.
This recipe is built on a tradition that is known to our nations a long time ago in the form of compresses of onion and potato for various inflammatory conditions. Therefore, we recommend to our readers who have any of these problems, to try this natural method and absolve themselves from pain.
6. Leek - Ejects uric acid
Among the many important characteristics of this plant we would put a highlight on its ability to eject uric acid. Our body produces uric acid every day, which is created as a result of a rest, of the protein metabolism. When too much uric acid is produced it is being deposited in joints and creates inflammation and pain, known as "arthritis". Leek has powerful properties to neutralize this acid and expel it from the body through urine, thus preserving the bones and kidneys.
Because of its specific aroma, leek has a very beneficial effect on the sinuses and airways. The prevalence of fiber in this plant stimulates bowel movement which is very important in the process of cleansing the organism. Leek is very rich in calcium, magnesium and iron. Half a kilo of leeks meet daily human need for iron, and a third of the needs for calcium.
